The Lecco Textile District Committee, established at the Chamber of Commerce, consists of Local Authorities (municipalities and provinces), Entrepreneurial Associations, and local labor union representatives, who promote support activities and business development within the district, creating the necessary synergies among the different actors of the territory.

From an organizational standpoint, the Committees are structures similar to negotiating tables, with the task of promoting the implementation of the development program, overseeing the progress and suggesting possible updating.

Secretarial duties are carried out by Lariodesk Informazioni, a special Firm belonging to the Lecco Chamber of Commerce.

As of 2001, the Textile District of Lecco is member of the Industrial Districts Club "Distretti Italiani" , a free, non-profit organization, operating since 1994, with the scope of voicing and representing local business systems; a typical Italian economic-territorial model.
